Baby Steps of Great Innovation 

More recently in 2009, Nadrian Seeman and colleagues at New York University created several DNA-like robotic nanoscale assembly devices. A year later in 2010, IBM used a silicon tip that was only a few nanometers to chisel away material from a substrate to create a nanoscale 3D relief map of the world one-one-thousandth the size of a grain of salt. Technology similar to these continue to be researched, leading to the day when nano-labs will be so small they be able to flow in bloodstreams
